The second Casa da Moeda Festival will take place from November 19-21 in Panjim, Goa. The focus this year is on books, writing and music.
Entry is free * and open to the public. Seating is limited, so please come early.
The schedule for this year’s events:
Friday 19th November
6 pm: Pulitzer-nominated novelist Prof. Lee Siegel talks about ‘Hypnosis in India’
7.30 pm: Manohar Shetty – a poetry reading
Saturday 20th November
6 pm: Isabel Santa Rita Vas: An introduction to Harold Pinter
7.15 pm: David da Silva : Gerard Manley Hopkins – Priest and Poet
Sunday 21 November
10 am – Cholta Cholta Walk by Bookworm * (Charges – Rs.100)
6 pm – Margaret Mascarenhas talks about her new book ‘The Disappearance of Irene Dos Santos’. The 4th edition of her first book ‘Skin’ will also be launched during the evening.
7.15 pm: Sonia Shirsat in concert.

CHARITY RAFFLE
At each event, audience members will have a chance to win a goodie-bag full of books, CDs, vouchers etc. All proceeds go to Child's Play India Foundation, our charity which aims to improve the lives of underprivileged children through music education.
