You know those bookshelves that have books lined up so that their pages show and not their spines? Spineless, I say! That look doesn’t work for me, because, really, what use is a bookshelf if you can’t see the books? Does uniformity of the cream and white pages make such a difference that a little colour will kill your look?
Having said that, I’m enjoying the serene-ness of this magazine display. Now that my own collection is getting to monstrous proportions this look might work nicely. Now I only have to buy that apartment to house my books…
