In a parallel universe

This photo has been all over the blogworld for some time now. Yet every time I see it, my heart skips a beat. This is what my life would look like, airbrushed. I would spend my mornings browsing through bookshops or reading through the notices on the door – just to see what’s happening in the neighbourhood. I’d be dressed up in a gorgeous frock and have my heels on (oh how I miss wearing heels!). My hair would be just like that too – upswept, a little mussy, perfect.

And I’d be in London again.

Sigh.
