Remember all the fancy decorative rocks you like to place around the house? Perish the thought, abandon the flourishes and try this really cool idea instead.
On a snowy day, a family with four kids bought a bag of 50 rocks, sat down and divided the loot among them. They painted the rocks in primary colours and then, instead of doing the predictable, they did this:
A few days later, the rocks found new homes all around town.
I absolutely love, love, love this idea. It is so easy to do and reminds me of my Bookcrossing days, where one leaves books for unsuspecting members of the public to find. I might try this out with the bag of rocks masquerading as mud that I got for my plants. If nowhere else, at least my plants will have some fun.
