Love…Harland Miller’s (fictitious) Penguin covers

I have always been intrigued by these large-scale paintings of Penguin book covers and discovered that they are by artist Harland Miller. Most of the titles are made up, obviously and that is the sheer charm of it. Miller has dozens of imaginative covers to his credit and most of them will surely draw a smile from your Monday morning grump. I’m so taken by these that I’m seriously pondering a DIY version of my own. The question is , do I make up my own title, or just copy an existing favourite? The possibilities are endless. And why stop at Penguin, huh?

Ha ha ha, love the DEATH what's in it for me -- good question! I wish people would hang risky, funny things like that more often in their homes. Personality!
