Love Goa in the rains?

Do you love to come to Goa during the monsoons? Yes? Then, help me out here!

For an article, I'm looking for tips on what visitors to Goa look for during the monsoons (when the beaches are off-limits). What do you do here? Eat, drink, walk around breathing in the green, green air?

Please leave a comment or email chryselled at gmail dot com . Thank you.

I feel the Monsoons are the best days to spent in Goa...
Almost all my visits to Goa (which invariably happens once a year or more) are during the monsoons...and believe me Beaches are the last destination I go to when in Goa.
Walking down the alleys of Fountainhas or Ribandur, munching into a batata vada and sipping hot tea at Tato's, a trek into the Chorao bird sanctuary, a lazy afternoon at the monsoon drenched forests at Swapnagandha valley, riding on a bike through the swaying paddy fields of south Goa letting the wind playing naughty games with my hair, watching the sunset from atop the cliffs of Vagator (hoping that it won't be eclipsed by the rain clouds) ...the list is endless. I come back from Goa everytime with a camera full of snaps and a mind full of stories...pity that i could only jot down a few on my blog...

Loved this blog, especially the title...frangipani incidentally is my favourite tree too..even my e mail id is just that 'templetree'...
Kudos for a lovely blog..keep the good work going!

Thanks everybody for your responses! Drop in and say hello when you're in Goa next.

@Sandeep - your fave haunts are right in my neighbourhood. Love them all, including the Swapnagandha valley.
