Christmas @ The Mint House

How was your Christmas? We had a quiet celebration with an excited three-year old still making ‘phone calls’ to Santa (three days after Santa returned to the North Pole). Here’s a glimpse of what our house looks like right now:

A vintage mini-crib sits on the antique sideboard (The crib is about 3 inches tall.)

A bookish reminder. I’ve now added The Grinch to this vignette (not seen here).

The three-year old has his own 'tree' in the Living Room with ornaments made at school and other random, quirky things that don't go on the Big Tree, but keep him happy!

On the Special Tree : Rudolph gets the day off.

And what's a Christmas tree without Thomas, eh?

A nested Santa next to my yogurt-pot-turned-planter.We're growing millet grass for the crib. And also for the reindeer when they get here...

A little crib in our dining room (one of THREE in the house!).

The Big Tree in the dining room, which is the most-frequently used room in the house.

Eight stars line the verandah and look lovely when lit.

Hope you had a lovely Christmas too!
